Determine the Data Dictionary system table to enable with record-level security

Once you determine the record that you want to restrict access to, find out which Data Dictionary system table is associated with that record.

Note: If you already know the name of the Data Dictionary system table, proceed to enable record-level security for it, if it is not enabled by default.

To identify the Data Dictionary system table that is associated with the record:

1. Log on to the District view.
2. Click the Admin tab, Data Dictionary side-tab.
3. On the side-tab, click Reference. The Reference Tables page appears.
4. Select the reference table.
5. On the Tables side-tab, click Details > Fields. The reference table fields page appears:

6. Note the system table that appears in the DataTable > DBName column.

Next, enable record-level security for the Data Dictionary system table and its field.
