Step 1: Merge duplicate contacts, if necessary

For efficient use of the portals, it is important that contacts be shared across students accurately and there are not duplicate contact an adult you can contact regarding a student's academic or personal information records. Ideally, contacts are entered into Aspen when a student registers. And if a person, such as a parent or guardian, is a contact for more than one student in your district, the contact record is shared among those students.
